SAP CONSULTANT

Position Summary:

Our company is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable SAP Consultant to join our team. As a SAP Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the implementation, customisation, and maintenance of our client's SAP systems. Your role will involve working closely with clients, understanding their business requirements, and translating them into effective SAP solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, requirements, and objectives for SAP system implementation or enhancement projects.
  • Analyse existing business processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and design SAP solutions that align with the client's goals.
  • Customise SAP modules according to client specifications, including system configuration, data migration, and integration with other systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and reliability of SAP systems.
  • Provide end-user training and support, addressing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new or enhanced SAP systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver SAP projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies, features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for system improvements and optimisations.
  • Assist in system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working as a SAP Consultant or in a similar role, with expertise in implementing and supporting SAP solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the client's requirements, such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, SAP SCM, or SAP BW.
  • Strong understanding of business processes across various industries and the ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
  • Proficiency in SAP configuration, including system setup, master data management, and customising functionalities.
  • Experience with SAP integration techniques, data migration, and interface development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Salary:

£35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
